The senator of the province, Monsignor Nouel, Héctor Acosta (El Torito) proposed that January 1 be declared as the “National Day of Prayer”.

The legislator, through a bill, made the proposal considering, first of all, “that prayer is the answer to God who speaks to us or better yet, reveals himself to us”.

In the same way, El Torito only places several recitals of a religious nature.

The artist also placed in the recitals that the National Day of Prayer would be celebrated as “a day of crying out to God to bless our nation.”

Regarding the legislative provisions with administrative implications, he orders the military and civil authorities to give support to the instructions of religious organizations and the civil organization that carry out activities and celebrations throughout the national territory.
