Las Américas cancels 30 flights because of tropical depression Grace
Las Américas International Airport (AILA) had to reschedule and cancel more than 30 flights because of the tropical depression Grace.
These include UPS flight number 335 bound for Miami and 402 and 403 from the same airline with the same destination and origin. These were canceled due to bad weather.
Other flights that were canceled due to the tropical depression belong to Jet Blue airlines 2829 and 2830 with origin and destination to Boston, respectively. Also, the 209 from New York and 2110 with departure to this same destination.
Flights 1203 and 1204 to and from Newark Liberty International Airport in the state of New Jersey in the United States, of the JetBlue airlines, were suspended.
The flight that took from JFK in New York, number 1009, and the one that had as the origin from the AILA to this same destination with number 2510 were also canceled.
In addition, flights 2537 and 2538 to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico are added to this list provided by Aerodom; as well as the 1405 and 1406 to and from the Orlando airport and the 2549 and 2448 to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico. They all belong to Jet Blue.
Wingo flights 7082 and 7083 to and from Bogotá were rescheduled for August 17.
Spirit flights 145 and 142 to and from Florida, United States, and the 377 and 378 of the same airlines to and from Orlando were also canceled.
Frontier flights 58 and 59 to and from Miami were canceled, while flights 512 and 513 of Venezolana to and from were rescheduled for August 17th.
