Rochy RD wants out from jail

The First Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Santo Domingo Este is hearing today, behind closed doors, an appeal filed by the urban exponent Aderly Ramírez Oviedo known as “Rochy RD”, with which he seeks to obtain his freedom.

The court will decide whether or not to revoke the decision of the Permanent Attention Court of Santo Domingo East that ordered the artist to be sent to prison for three months in the Najayo prison, accused of rape against a minor. The court is presided over by Judge José Aníbal Madera

“Rochy RD” was taken to the court located in the Los Mameyes sector in Santo Domingo Este, under strict security measures, with a bulletproof vest and a protective helmet.

Esteisi Peña Santana, better known as “La Demente”, alleged partner of Rochy RD, is also in prison accused of integrating an alleged network of sexual exploitation of minors for commercial purposes.

The artists Yiyo Sarante and Sergio Vargas are guarantors of Rochy RD. Yiyo appeared at the hearing and Sergio sent a letter.
