Unites States recognizes touristic medicine of the Bournigal Medical Center
Puerto Plata – Press Release. The United States Consulate in the Dominican Republic recognized the Bournigal Medical Center for the health services they provide to U.S. citizens who require medical attention while visiting the country.
The act of recognition was held on November 6 and headed by the Consul General William Swaney and the Consular Agent Joseph E. Placek of the Embassy of the United States of America, in the facilities of the center, which is part of the Rescue Group.
Swaney and Placek presented a medal and a certificate of appreciation to the International Division of the Bournigal Medical Center (Centro Médico Bournigal in Spanish), “for their unswerving dedication and professionalism in providing world class medical services to U.S. citizens in the Dominican Republic.”
Diplomats highlighted the work of the highly trained team of professionals who provide invaluable service to Americans who require immediate medical attention while traveling.
The Rescue Concierge department of the International Division offers personalized services to international patients in their language; including English, German, and French, from the moment they are received at their facilities until they leave.
This team is responsible for continuously monitoring patients from a call, service coordination, and support in their process until they are discharged.
