4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress speakers

According to his website, Dr. Prem has traveled to more than 65 countries, addressed numerous international conferences and offered his expert services to more than 150 international organizations.
He also owns, operates and leads a web services and technology businesses, supervised and managed by his eminent team.
Rafael Paz: Presentation of Study about Competitiveness of Medical Tourism in the Dominican Republic

The Executive Director of the National Competitiveness Council, Mr. Rafael Paz, will present the Competitiveness Study of the Dominican Republic in Health Tourism, said Dr. Cambiaso.
Dr. Paz is a member of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum. He has been a Full Professor at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University.
He was an Advisor to the National Assembly during the Reform of the Constitution of 2010, Advisor on Constitutional Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, Legal Advisor of the Senate of the Republic, Adviser on Constitutional Affairs of the Presidency of the Central Electoral Board and was the first Secretary of the Directive Council of the National School of Electoral Training and Civil Status.
Dr. Margarita Cedeño: Importance of Public-Private Partnerships in the Development of Health Tourism in the Dominican Republic

When she was the First Lady (2004-2012), she and her staff coordinated social policies for the administration, generating programs of health and education for children, young people, single mothers, and families.
In May 2012, she became the first woman from her party, and second in the history of the country, to be elected Vice President of the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Cedeño holds a Ph.D. in Cum Laude Law from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (1987), Magister Magna Cum Laude in Business Law and Economic Legislation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (1995) and Master in Political Science for the Development of the University of Salamanca (2010).
Dr. Hassan Sharif and Dr. Richard Heinzl. Collaboration: Present and Future of Global Health

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Sharif was instrumental in establishing the physician-to-physician relationships of WorldCare’s second opinion service.
His extensive experience and efforts have bridged the gap between U.S. medical practices and those of the world.
He also leads WorldCare’s international consulting and management efforts while managing worldwide operations and shared services.
Dr. Sharif received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, (AUB) School of Medicine.
He completed his radiology training at AUB, the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and Magnetic Resonance training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

David Collado: Role of the Mayor’s Office for the Development of a Health and Wellness Destination

Mayor Collado is a politician, businessman, marketer, communicator, and majored in Tourism.
