Dominican Ministry of Tourism and 37 companies ready for FITUR 2020
The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Mitur) and 37 Dominican companies refine the gear for their participation in one of the most important international meetings of the Tourism fairs globally; The Fitur International Fair, in Madrid, Spain, to be held from January 22-26th.
According to the information collected by Infotur Dominicano, Mitur holds 36 co-exhibitors in Hall 3, at stands 3A05, 3A07 and 3B03 of the FITUR fairgrounds.
In addition, the General Cinema Directorate will participate at Hall 4, Stand FS14 and of the wholesale company Enjoy Dominican Republic will be located in Hall 3, stand 3B04A.

FITUR is the first annual event for world tourism professionals and the leading fair for the receptive and outgoing Latin American markets.
In the 2019 edition, FITUR broke a record of participation with 10,487 companies from 165 countries/regions, a total of 142,642 professionals, and 110,848 visitors from the general public.
In the last edition, 9,150 business appointments have been scheduled in the different B2B organized by the fair and 49,711 appointments requested through the digital agenda.
Korea is the partner country of Fitur 2020, which registers a significant increase in international visitors with 15.3 million tourists in 2018, and will boost the promotion of the destination by adding its brand to FITUR.
The presence as a FITUR partner coincides with the 70th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Spain.
South Korea is currently the third-largest issuing market in Asia for Spain.
