Police Director asks criminals to leave citizens alone
Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, director of the National Police, made a call to the criminals from the Santiago province, warning them to leave the hard-working and honest citizens alone.
“Leave the hard-working, honest and responsible society calm, because otherwise we will be standing up here to respond to them as they are responding to those hard-working citizens of this great province,” said the police director during his visit to Santiago.
Likewise, he sent a message to the society of this demarcation: “We are never going to abandon them in the performance of our duties as National Police”. He also added that: “we are willing to give everything for them, and that we will be pending whenever necessary come here to face up responsibly, and even the pride that I feel for Santiago”.
The director of the Police visited the community to deliver five trucks and fifteen motorcycles to the Cibao Central Regional Directorate located in Santiago and made a call to the criminals due to the high wave of crime that surrounds the Cibao.
The police director personally awarded the new units to General Ramón Azcona Reyes, Cibao Central regional director, to improve the development of the patrol service and continue to fight crime and preserve citizen tranquility in the province.
