Celso Marranzini calls businessmen skip lunch with Robert Thomas

The businessman Celso Marranzini recommended to the National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep) and the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) that they not attend the lunch of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (Amchamdr), with Robert Thomas, in protest of the “interference and audacity” of the United States Embassy in the country.
Recently, in a statement, the United States Embassy in the country noted that “in recent months travelers to the Dominican Republic have reported being delayed, detained, or subjected to further questioning at ports of entry and in other encounters. with immigration officials based on your skin color.

The American Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a series of lunches, beginning on the 23rd with Thomas, who is the business manager of the US Embassy in Santo Domingo.
