“When I was sworn in, I swore to comply with the Dominican Constitution and with the laws… what I am doing is that,” said President Luis Abinader this Friday when questioned about the repatriations of Haitians that his administration has been carrying out in the last days.
The ruler stated that he will continue to comply with the nation’s standards.
Likewise, the head of state said that his commitment is only with the Dominican people.
Luis Abinader spoke about the subject after leading the launch event, in the Santiago Oeste municipal district, of the Christmas operation called “Christmas of Change”, organized by the State Economic Kitchens.
The initiative contemplates distributing cooked and raw food to vulnerable populations nationwide.
The launch of the program is part of an extensive work schedule that the ruler is carrying out in the Santiago and Espaillat provinces this Friday and Saturday, which includes visits to construction sites, inaugurations, program launch, as well as meetings with community members, deputies and mayors. .
