Daughter describes Amable Aristy Castro as honest and sincere

Karina Aristy, daughter of Amable Aristy Castro, dedicated words of love to her father through a letter posted on her Twitter account, after he died last Sunday, December 4, due to respiratory arrest.
The former mayor of Higüey shared a note addressed to her father along with two photographs of them showing their union.
In her letter, she thanked him for the love, support and “warmth” towards her and her children, as well as highlighting the human qualities and values that her father instilled in them.

In the note, she indicated that we will all “miss him” and that he will be present in the hearts of his family and the people who appreciate him.
Below is the full letter written by Karina:
“Daddy of my dear heart
I remain with the warmth of your embrace, being close to you was the strength of my life, I thank you so much for always keeping your door open for me and my children at all times.
There is no father like mine, so strong, honest and sincere, who made fighting for his people his lifestyle for more than 40 years, and his legacy and that great love will remain forever.
I thank him because until the end he taught us to forge a heart that does not hold grudges or bad feelings, just like his, that generous way of being, of giving his friendship.
What a privilege our Lord Jesus gave us to have a father like you. Thank you for giving me your time, your support, for being my beacon, for always being by my side and allowing me to walk this path together.
So grateful for the good affections and values that you instilled in me and that today I value so much, because I have understood that true love is that which is given, without expecting anything in return.
Rest assured, you will all be missed here, but in every memory, you will live forever in my heart.
Your dear daughter.”
