Oleg Novitskiy captures the city of Santo Domingo from the ISS
Russian astronaut Oleg Novitskiy goes viral again after tweeting a picture of the city of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, from the International Space Station (ISS).
#DominicanRepublic, hello again! 👋🏻 This time I captured its capital alone — #SantoDomingo.
This is the oldest city in the New World of all that have survived to the present day. It is located on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. pic.twitter.com/hn4Dc8F13y

The astronaut, who came to the ISS aboard the Soyuz MS-18, captured a first picture of the Caribbean country last May and affirmed then that the Dominican Republic is a “paradise on Earth that impresses the guests for its fantastically beautiful views and nature, which amazes so much that one wants to become a part of it”.

I looked out the window, and saw the most visited country in the #Caribbean — the #DominicanRepublic.
