Condor announces summer 2020 flight plan from Munich to Punta Cana
The German airline Condor announced its plan for long-distance direct flights from Munich to Punta Cana by summer 2020, which will take place every Wednesday, reinforcing the arrival of more tourists from that issuing market.
This flight already operates during this winter of 2019/2020, so that the Dominican Republic will be present in the south of Germany for Condor customers throughout the year.
Condor will have four weekly flights from Frankfurt, which will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to Punta Cana. Also, from Frankfurt there are also two direct flights to Santo Domingo on Wednesdays and Sundays.
On the other hand, the summer 2020 flight plan also has four Eurowings charter frequencies operated by Lufthansa to Punta Cana: three for TUI from Düsseldorf on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, as well as one for the Schauinsland tour operator from Munich on Saturdays .
Visitors from Switzerland have three direct flights with Edelweiss Air from Zurich to Punta Cana.
“We are very happy with the news of Condor, especially since our flight from Munich allows our public in Bavaria, located in southern Germany, to have the opportunity to fly directly to Punta Cana, one of the favorite regions of the Germans ”, said Petra Cruz, director of Europe and the Tourist Promotion Office (OPT) Germany.
She said that in relation of the tourist developments offered by the north of the Dominican Republic, they are currently negotiating with the airlines to get direct flights to Puerto Plata.
