The Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedobe) announced Tuesday the superstar of the Toronto Blue Jays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, as the first member of the team that will represent the country in the next edition of the World Baseball Classic.
This information was shared in a publication posted on Fedobe’s social networks, in which the Dominican slugger himself confirms his participation.
“A single flag, all united for the same cause. (Republic) Dominican champion. Vamo’ pa’ sobre, ready pa’l Clásico”, said Guerrero Jr in the audiovisual.
The announcement comes shortly after the manager of the Creole team, Rodney Linares, declined to mention the names of the players that would make up the team, assuring that he had just been appointed to the position and alleging that much of the Major League season was still missing. Suspenders.
