Juan Soto travels to Miami to join the Dominican team

The Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedobe) reported that baseball player Juan Soto is scheduled to take a flight early this Friday to join the Dominican Republic team, which is training before the start of its participation in the World Baseball Classic.
Soto, according to Fedobe, is scheduled to travel from Arizona to Miami, where he will join the Creole team.
At the beginning of the week, the manager of the team, Nelson Cruz, announced that the star outfielder of the San Diego Padres would not immediately join the squad’s practices but that he would be joining before the first game of the tournament.
However, Soto would be playing with “restrictions,” according to statements by the national team’s coach, Rodney Linares.
“He is going to play in the outfield (gardens), which cannot assure you if he is going to play the first day in the outfield, but he is going to play,” Linares said at a press conference held last Wednesday.
