Joel Dahmen wins the Corales Championship PGA Tour

American professional golfer Joel Dahmen is the champion of the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship, held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Dahmen started the day tied with the Puerto Rican Rafa Campos with -10, but his round of 70 versus Rafa’s 71 strokes was the difference so that Joel had the opportunity to lift the trophy in front of a small but warm fan that gathered in Corales.
“It was an emotional round. I was very focused on each shot, and at one point I felt the pressure from my competitors. I finally got the opportunity to lift the trophy that gives me my first victory on the PGA Tour and it is something that nothing or no one can take me away”, said Dahmen after his final round.
