Global Hemisphere in charge of marketing Casa de Campo’s golf tourism offer
Global Hemisphere continues to develop its business in the Dominican Republic by representing and marketing the golf tourism offer of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, one of the best resorts in the world.
“The golf industry worldwide is showing high demand and the travel sector will be one of the most strengthened. Tourism trends in 2021 are committed to nature and sports tourism. Sustainable and safe destinations and activities and experiences in open spaces”, says Mónica Díaz Vecino, founder of Global Hemisphere.
Casa de Campo has almost three thousand hectares of vegetation and the resort, surrounded by a turquoise blue sea, has three renowned golf courses.
“Golf tourism has undergone a radical change with COVID-19 and the Dominican Republic has been one of the destinations that have risen the fastest. We have been selling since December when tourism in Spain was still completely stopped. Since this situation began, we have not stopped working on innovation to increase productivity, exposure, and sales for our customers. Right now, in April, we have a sales stoppage, a situation that is very far from what is, unfortunately, happening in Spain”, she added.
The more than sixty holes designed by Pete Dye can be played at The Links, at Dye Fore and, above all, at Teeth of The Dog, considered a Pete Dye masterpiece that, forty years later, is better than ever.
“Our company, Global Hemisphere, provides external marketing services for hotels and golf courses. We work sales and marketing specialized in golf exclusively for a limited portfolio of clients. Let’s say we do the commercial work for the resort generating ‘leads’ and positioning and, therefore, sales. One more year, and after a year of pandemic, we continue our commercial work in the Caribbean by marketing Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, home to the main luxury golf experiences in Latin America”, adds Díaz Vecino.
“In Casa de Campo you can find the only private beach in the Dominican Republic, a sports marina with an atmosphere area, cinemas, shops, and cocktail bars. Also, the picturesque ‘town’ of Altos de Chavón with its nightly entertainment and international concerts. And there is no lack of an equestrian club, shooting center, tennis clubs, gourmet restaurants, spa, gym, and many other top-notch activities. The food is simply excellent and the rooms and suites are comfortable and elegant, the best being the villas with a private pool, butler and fully equipped”, explains Mónica Díaz Vecino.
Global Hemisphere has been marketing golf in Europe and Asia for the resort and has worked exclusively for Casa de Campo since 2014. Through Global Hemisphere, the resort sells to international tour operators, golf professionals, and direct clients.
