Caribbean Baseball organizers suggest prompt works to the Quisqueya Stadium

The Director of the Caribbean Series Tournament, Jorge Bauza, proclaimed that the reconditioning work of the Quisqueya Stadium for the Caribbean tournament in its 64th version, Dominican Republic 2022, must begin as quickly as possible.
Bauza expressed his considerations when holding a remote meeting with the Technical Director of the Dominican Baseball League (Lidom), Jorge Torres, and Ramón Ruiz, Brand Director of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation (CBPC).
During the meeting, held via teleconferencing platform, Bauza commented “there must be adequate physical space for the entry and exit of the players and coaching staff of the participating countries in the triple daily sessions during the Caribbean Series”.
According to the evaluations, Bauza affirmed that the space for the changing rooms of the referees participating in the triple rounds is not the most appropriate, since there is no room for the eight referees, the four will work in the first match, plus the four of the next match.
“That room has to be air-conditioned, have its dressing rooms, as well as showers, tables and chairs or furniture”, said Bauza.
“I want to be there to give my recommendations, support them and have them taken into account, since the only thing we are looking for in the total success of the next Caribbean Series 2022”.
The Director of the Caribbean Series Tournament thus commented on his desire to be present at the Quisqueya Stadium when the engineers or architects go so he can provide his recommendations on the work to be carried out in the ballpark.
Jorge Bauza has many years in charge of directing the Caribbean Series tournaments in sports, within the structure of the Caribbean Baseball Confederation, chaired by Juan Francisco Puello Herrera.
The Technical Director of the Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic, Jorge Torres, affirmed that he will take the concerns to the office of Mr. Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, president of Lidom.
