Bandits MenaRD becomes the Capcom Cup champion

The young Dominican Saul Mena, better known as Bandits MenaRD, became the champion of the Capcom Cup IX, being the only player in the world to win the Street Fighter V (Sfvce) maximum competition twice.
After two years of suspended competition, Mena faced players from all over the world in 2023, but on this occasion, unlike when he won his first cup in 2017, he was among the player’s favorites.
The Capcom Cup was held in Los Angeles and featured a “prize pool” of over $300,000.
According to a press release, Mena faced and beat the following players: Takamura, Japanese; Endinwalker, British and Zhen, Chinese.
Mena celebrated his victory with a post on his Instagram account, showing his second Sfvce cup.
“Welcome back to your home, the Dominican Republic,” he wrote in the publication that this information has 2,686 likes and 311 comments.
