After a year of the death of the actor Ray Liotta in his sleep, it was announced that his death was classified as “natural and non-violent”.
According to documents seen by TMZ, they cite various illnesses such as respiratory failure, pulmonary edema, also known as fluid in the lungs, and acute heart failure.
Similarly, it is specified that Liotta suffered from atherosclerosis, a thickening of the arteries caused by a buildup of plaque on the inner lining, which often leads to diabetes and other health problems.
The actor died in Santo Domingo on May 26th, 2022, where he was filming the movie “Dangerous Waters”, at the age of 67.
He left behind his fiancée Jacy Nittolo and their daughter Karsen, who is now 24 years old.
Born in 1954 in New Jersey, Liota began working on television series in the late 1970s. One of his most remembered performances was in the film “One of ours” (‘Goodfellas’), under the direction of the laureate Martin Scorsese.
