The urban artist Elvis Manuel Santos Alcántara, better known as Onguito Wa, is involved in a hit-and-run that caused the death of a person.

Onguito Wa hit a motorist at the Duarte Avenue near Nicolás de Ovando Avenue, in the National District in Santo Domingo.

Police spokesman Diego Pesqueira asked “Onguito Wa” to turn himself in, indicating that he was identified as the driver of the jeep that hit a Haitian man who was traveling on a motorcycle head-on.

“The National Police calls on him to turn himself in by the means he deems doable and answer for that fact.”

Pesqueira said that the urban exponent fled the scene and is being chased by the authorities while he was on his way to George Washington Avenue.

It is recurrent that the urban exponent appears in the media, for being involved in traffic accidents.

It is recalled that last June he ran over two people in the Villa María sector of the Capital.
