Judges deny liberty to Rochy RD
The urban artist Rochy RD will remain in prison, after the judges of the First Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Santo Domingo denied him parole.
Aderly Ramírez will remain in prison in La Victoria accused of gender-based violence to the detriment of a minor.
The court, chaired by José Arias Madera, made the decision to reject an appeal filed by the urban artist’s lawyers.
The magistrates accepted the opinion of the Public Ministry for the accused to continue in prison, except the magistrate Karen Mejía understood that it was appropriate to release Rochy RD through a variation of the measure.
