Top ten airlines in Punta Cana: more than 60 daily flights and 12K seats
The Punta Cana International Airport, receives more than 65% of the tourists that arrive at the main destination of the Caribbean region, and in this, the top ten of the airlines with the highest volume of flights and seats, are key to achieve this percentage.
In that sense and according to the information collected by Infotur Dominicano, these ten airlines operate a total of 64 daily flights, contributing to the routes that connect a total of 12,581 seats.
This top ten is headed by the Canadian airline Air Transat with seven daily flights and 2,074 seats. In second place is American Airlines with 1,450 seats in eight flights and in third place is Sunwing Airlines with 1,303 seats.

In fourth place is United Airlines with seven flights and 1,285 seats and the top five is closed by Panamanian Copa Airlines with 8 daily flights and 1,268 seats.
The other five airlines that complete the top ten are: Delta Airlines with 8 flights and 1,248 seats; Air Canada Rouge, 4 flights, 1,043 seats; Southwest Airlines, 6 flights and 1,020 seats; LATAM Airlines Chile, 4 flights and 955 seats and finally JetBlue Airways with 6 flights and 935 seats.
