The organizers of the Dominican Festival reported the suspension of the event after the Executive Power’s request for 45 more days of the state of emergency.

“Anyone who made a payment can contact Turinter for the refund of his money”, stated Nelson López, and Chino Consuegra, coordinators of the artistic event.

The artistic event consisted of a billboard that brings together important artists of merengue, salsa, and the urban genre, which was scheduled at the Barceló Convention Center of the exclusive hotel complex in Punta Cana, from July 16th to 18th.

It featured La Rossmaria, Los Hermanos Rosario, La Insuperable, Bulin 47, Banda Real, Frank Reyes, Yiyo Sarante, Secreto, Shadow Blow, and Omega El Fuerte.

Turinter, the travel agency, tour operator, and event organizer announced that the Dominican Festival would celebrate its 45th anniversary on another date to be announced soon.
