Dominican Republic promotes exports to the United States
A trade and multisector mission from the Dominican Republic paid a visit to New York City to promote local products and encourage increased exports to the great city.
The delegation, chaired by the director of ProDominicana, Biviana Riveiro Disla, developed an extensive work schedule, which included meetings, business meetings, and exchanges with businessmen residing in the Big Apple.
The work agenda endorsed by the consul of the city of New York, Eligio Jáquez, has the purpose of strengthening commercial relations, detecting great business opportunities, and placing Dominican products abroad.
“This type of mission goes a long way to consolidate relationships, but also to open up new markets. Without a doubt, these actions will mark the beginning of new Dominican export businesses, because we know that in order to make the Dominican Republic an exporting country, we must support MSMEs to become export companies, ”Riveiro Disla assured.
In addition, the official indicated that meetings were also held with investment groups that explore the possibility of investing in areas such as tourism, real estate, energy, mining, and others.
