Barna includes Mauricio Macri as a member of its Business Academic Council
Barna Management School, signed an agreement with the businessman and former president of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, through which he will become an honorary member of the Business Academic Council (CAE), becoming an advisor to the educational institution.
Within the framework of the agreement, Macri will hold conferences and meetings with graduates and current participants of the institution, in addition to having special presentations in the specialized programs for the public sector that the school has.
As current executive president of the FIFA Foundation, and due to his career in the highest positions in politics and the private sector, Macri joins Barna with the aim of being an entity that promotes the development of knowledge and the strengthening of networking for the community national directive.
During the signing ceremony held in the city of Miami, Macri assured that “with this agreement he reaffirms his commitment to the new generations, providing them with ideal spaces and providing knowledge that promotes their skills for the future of leadership in the business market.”
Paulo Alves, rector of Barna, highlighted that with the inclusion of former president Macri to the CAE of Barna, the institution reinforces its international link actions. In addition, he pointed out that this alliance is part of a series of actions that will be carried out with the aim of strengthening the ties of the community of graduates of the institution and continue accompanying them in their managerial transformation.
Barna Management School was founded in 1999 and is the main management school in the Caribbean, located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, its fundamental pillar being the training of managers. In 2019, he began his first degree in Business Management aimed at young people with an inclination towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
