U.S Ambassador in the DR sends her condolences following tropical storm Laura

Santo Domingo. – The ambassador of the United States in the Dominican Republic, Robin S. Bernstein, expressed her condolences to the people who lost a family member during the passage of the storm Laura through the country, which claimed the lives of four people and left more than a thousand homes affected.
“My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones to the recent passage of Storm Laura. My deepest condolences”, said the ambassador.

Similarly, she said that it is necessary to do everything possible to stay out and be prepared during this hurricane season.
According to data from the Emergency Operations Center (COE), the passage of storm Laura through the country left 1,843 affected homes, 60 isolated communities, and 9,215 evacuated people.
