Along with this couple, who had left a cult of the “Iglesia Misionera Esperando a Cristo”, from Villa Mella, which has a chapel in Los Ganchos, San Cristóbal province and was heading to Santo Domingo, were traveling Claudio Alberto Ramírez, pastor and a preacher from the religious center, wounded in the back, and Carlos Pérez, who miraculously saved their lives, and were dispatched from the Villa Altagracia National Police Detachment, after being questioned.

In Villa Altagracia, they demand that the situation in which both died be established.

The Public Ministry announced that it will request a year of preventive detention against the agents involved in the homicide and that the case be declared complex.

In a press release, the law enforcement institution stressed that it “will not tolerate” its agents “any action” that violates the norms and laws of the Dominican Republic.
