John Maxwell teaches about values in the Dominican Republic

Writer and speaker John Maxwell is in the Dominican Republic promoting the training in values along 200 coaches from various countries to train more than 36 thousand people, who in turn will serve as multipliers in all levels of society.
His presence in the Caribbean country is supported by the members of the Dominican Foundation for Transformation, who will initiate a broad training plan in values, as a way to achieve important changes in the lives of Dominicans.
This is revealed by Raúl Burgos, top executive in the country of the foundation, who highlights that “Mr. Maxwell is accompanied by 200 coaches from around the world to, at training tables, start promoting changes in the attitude that we must have. Dominicans to achieve important changes in our society”.
He argues that world-famous universities such as Oxford and Stanford have shown, through scientific studies, that a society can only rise up when it raises the levels of its values.
“There are 25 basic values that are fundamental and that apply in any society, and in the Dominican Republic people want values such as commitments, responsibility, limits, listening, discipline, passion, among others, and the program will revolve around those issues”, said Burgos.
How the project works
The project includes a conference by Maxwell on November 20th, which will be broadcast on national television.
Burgos clarifies that the training action “has nothing to do with politics or religion. That is why we can all embrace this initiative, because they are universal values”.
The facilitators are set to lead processes for 12 weeks in different values.
Those who have started the training will be facilitators who in the immediate future will be at the forefront of the tables to organize and continue the process throughout the country.
“These facilitators are people capable of allowing dialogue, allowing everyone to participate, and that there are no judgments at the tables, that each person in that space feels responsible for the need to change based on values in order to grow”.
Burgos mentioned that throughout the day 200 professionals who specialize in values will be directing workshops in seven cities of the country, with the presence of 1,200 organizations.
The coaches will be in Santo Domingo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Punta Cana, Santiago, Hato Mayor and Barahona.
