Instituto Duartiano rejects a bill that harms the Dominican nation

The Duartiano Institute rejected the bill on the protection of victims or survivors of human trafficking and the object of smuggling of migrants for opposing the supreme interest of the Dominican Nation and its citizenship, on which it is intended to put all the financing weight.
This legislative piece, of which the Senate of the Republic is empowered, entails a severe attack against the territorial integrity of the Dominican Republic, crushes on its sovereignty, and serves as a new incentive in the policy of massive settlement in its territory of people mainly of Haitian nationality.
All of this reaches greater seriousness at a time when an incontrovertible threat looms against our country, determined by the severe crisis that Haiti is experiencing and the inexplicable indifference that the international community has assumed in the face of the problem, particularly the OAS, UN, United States, France, and Canada.
This patriotic entity, responsible for disseminating the Duartian ideal, formulates a vehement call to honorable senators and deputies of the Republic to reject with all their might this openly interventionist project, evidently manufactured by foreign interests that continue their exorbitant task of undermining our sovereignty, not observing the recognized principle of non-intervention in the internal affairs of states.
