Dominican Republic reports 307 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours
The Dominican Republic registered 307 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, as reported by the Public Health authorities on Tuesday morning.
While the accumulated number of people with the active virus amounts to 2,103.
Yesterday, 2,955 were processed to detect the virus and 964 subsequent ones.
The daily positivity is 10.39 percent and the accumulated 3.57%. Since the beginning of the pandemic to date, 584,029 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.
According to the last report, 63 people are hospitalized for COVID, five less than those notified in May 30th bulletin; while there are 8 patients in intensive care, two less than 24 hours ago.
The death toll remains at 4,377 because the report does not report deaths.
The new 307 positive cases were registered in the National District (89); Santo Domingo (65); Santiago (46); Espaillat (23); Saint Christopher (20); Duarte (11) and Valverde (11). The other provinces report 2, 4 and 1 infections in the last 24 hours.
