Seguros Reservas stands out at the Panamerican Infectology congress
With the participation of important experts from the national and international health sector, the XX Panamerican Association of Infectology congress (API) and the XIV Congress of the Dominican Society of Infectology took place from Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th August.
During the meeting that was held at the Punta Cana Convention Center, more than one hundred speakers presented and exchanged experiences and knowledge on topics such as updating the management of infectious diseases and the diagnosis, treatment, variants, and vaccines of COVID-19.
Lic. VĂctor Rojas, Executive Vice President of Seguros Reservas affirmed that this event is of special importance due to the challenges we face secondary to the pandemic, which merit collaborative alliances between experts from the health sector to share best practices and promote tourism and sustainable economic development.
Seguros Reservas and the Banco de Reservas joined to support the initiative, contributing to the continuing medical education programs of various health centers in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, Medical Director of Seguros Reservas and President of the Dominican Health Tourism Association, provided the keynote address to close the event, highlighting that the Dominican Republic is a safe destination with great potential in terms of health and wellness tourism.
The renowned doctor concluded by stating that the Dominican government has shown regional leadership with its vaccination programs, safe tourism assistance plan, and development of public-private alliances, which he considered necessary to promote large projects and the creation of a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
