Santo Domingo Airport registers record flights
The International Airport of the Americas / José Francisco Peña Gómez (AILA – JFPG), received more than 400 international flights, maintaining record figures amid COVID-19 as it did in the second week of July when it received 409 flights.
For these seven days, the AILA – JFPG is scheduled to receive 411 commercial passenger flights, which added to the 60 it received on August 1st, for a total of 471 flights.
For August, flight reservations continue to increase the rhythm of air operations to the Dominican Republic and in the AILA programming, exceeding 1,700 flights.
The air traffic allows the Dominican capital to receive an outstanding flow of passengers from market issuers seeking to strengthen their presence in the country.
In chronological order, so far, the schedule for this first week of August is as follows:
- August 2nd – 65 flights received
- August 3rd – 56 flights
- August 4th – 65 flights
- August 5th – 60 flights
- August 6th – 56 flights
- August 7th – 53 flights
- August 8th – 56 flights
