Germany excluded the Dominican Republic from its risk zone for coronavirus, as announced by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, through his Twitter account.

“Great news for the DR (Dominican Republic). The tourist corners of our country open their doors to nationals and foreigners in a safe way”, Collado said.

A publication of the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Santo Domingo reads “The Dominican Republic is no longer categorized as a coronavirus risk zone.”

Germany is one of the main emitters of tourists from Europe to the country.
