Banco Popular private lunch aims medical travel projects in the Dominican Republic
The Banco Popular Private Investment Lunch gathers local and international investors along with developers of new projects, financial, health, tourism, export and governmental sectors.
The meeting is on September 7th, 2018, at the 4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso and Amelia Reyes, President and Vice President of the Dominican Health Tourism Association, respectively, informed that this invitation-only encounter would take place in the Salon Sol de Oro of the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino.
Banco Popular Private Investment Lunch
On behalf of the institution, Juan Manuel Martín de Oliva García, Vice President of Tourism Business of the Banco Popular Dominicano, will present the Financial Products and Investor Support products available.
The luncheon has the support of the Center for Exportation and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEIRD) and the National Free Trade Zone Council (CNZFE).
Furthermore, its purpose is to promote innovation, public-private alliances, and creating investment opportunities in new projects related to medical tourism, retirement tourism and free trade zones for medical devices.
In that order, the Executive Director of the CEIRD, Marius de León, will detail the convenience for local and international investment.
Free Trade Zones
The President of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, declared 2018 as the year for the Promotion of Exportations.
The Banco Popular Private Investment Lunch will also discuss the development of Free Trade Zones as the platform for investment and businesses dedicated to medical devices.
Moreover, the panel will be moderated by Luisa Fernandez Duran, Executive Director of the CNZFE, tagging along José Manuel Torres, Executive Vice president of the Dominican Association of Free Trade Zones (ADOZONA).
Likewise, Gerardo Coto, General Manager of Baxter, and Rafael Piantini, Human Resources manager for Parque Industrial de Itabo, S. A. (PIISA), will join the debates.
At the end of the business meeting, there will be an open presentation of new projects that promote commercial relationships and the supporting of the competitiveness and productive chain of the health tourism sector in the Caribbean country.
