The Board of Civil Aviation of the Dominican Republic reported that “airlines must ensure that passengers have the Electronic Form for Entry and Exit to the Dominican Republic (ETicket) completed prior to boarding, to avoid fines for NON-COMPLIANCE with Resolution 252-2021 of the entity”.
This is because many passengers entering Dominican territory by air do not have their corresponding E-Ticket form duly completed, which generates inconveniences when checking in at immigration control, generating delays and long lines harming all passengers.
In addition, Marte Piantini, President of the JAC, warned national and foreign air operators: “Strictly comply with Resolution 252-2021 of the agency on the mandatory nature of filling out the E-Ticket.”
Ensuring that “the Directorate of Migration will establish the amount of the fine that the airlines will assume as of today, Tuesday, July 26th,” the official published.
